Clinical Trials available at Cedar Valley Cancer Center:


Amgen 20080259:  A phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study of Pegfilgrastin administered to subjects with newly diagnosed, locally advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer treated with Bevacizumab, and either 5FU, Oxaliplatin, Leucovorin (FOLFOX) or 5FU, Irinotecan, Leucovorin (FOLFORI).


 

Amgen 20070782:  A randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of Darbopoetin administered at 500ug every three weeks in anemia subjects with advanced stage Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer receiving multi-cycle chemotherapy.


 

Connect MM: Multiple Myeloma Registry: Observational Study:  Newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patients that they will look at what treatments are prescribed and the patient quality of life.


 

Novartis CZ0L446E2352:  A prospective, randomized, double-blind, stratified, multi cancer, 2 arm trial of the continued efficacy and safety of Zometa in patients with documented bone metastasis from breast cancer.


 

GlaxoSmithKline Magrit 109493:  A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled phase 111 study to assess the efficacy of recMAGE-A3+AS15 Antigen-A3-positive Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.


 

ACORN AC01L08:  A multi-Centered Randomized Phase 2b study of Cetuximab (Erbitux) in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy as first line treatment of patients with recurrent or advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.


 

Genentech: VIRGO  An observational study of treatment patterns and safety outcomes for metastatic or locally recurrent breast cancer-AVF4349n.

Must be enrolled before having 8 weeks of treatment.


 

Genetech: ARIES  An observational study of Avastin in combination with chemotherapy for treatment of metastatic or locally advanced and unresectable Colorectal cancer and locally or metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (excluding squamous cell).  Must be first line chemotherapy plus Avastin equal or less that 4 months prior to study enrollment.
